Connection help
Connect U.S. Bank to Silvia
Follow these steps to find your U.S. Bank account in Silvia, authorize a connection, and resolve common setup issues.
Before You Start
Have your U.S. Bank login and access to your usual verification method ready. Check that you can sign in directly with your institution before starting.
- Start with the U.S. Bank listing that matches your online banking account. Review the accounts and requested access in the authorization flow.
- U.S. Bank lets you review connected companies and change which accounts they can access through its digital banking data-sharing controls.
Connect Your Account
Open Your Portfolio in Silvia
Sign in and open Assets & Liabilities (or My Portfolio). Select Banks & Brokerages under Add an Asset. If your page has an Add button, choose Add asset first. On mobile, the + button opens the add options.
Find the Right U.S. Bank Listing
Search for U.S. Bank in the Add Account window. Choose the listing that matches your institution and account type. Banking, credit card, brokerage, and workplace accounts may use different listings.
Follow the Connection Prompts
Silvia opens the connection provider for the listing you selected. Follow the sign-in instructions and complete any verification requested by U.S. Bank. You may be redirected to your institution to authorize access.
Review Access & Select Your Accounts
Review the requested data access, select the accounts you want to share when prompted, and complete the authorization. Available accounts and data depend on your institution and connection provider.
Return to Silvia
Finish the connection flow and return to your portfolio. Allow time for the initial sync, then check that your selected accounts appear. Balances, holdings, and transactions may arrive at different times where available.
If You Have Trouble Connecting
- For an account missing from an existing connection, sign in to U.S. Bank online banking and open Profile & settings, then Data sharing & privacy. Under My controls, choose Manage and review the relevant company’s sharing details.
- If you stopped sharing access at U.S. Bank, return to Silvia and use Reconnect when prompted. Contact Silvia support if authorization succeeds but the account still does not update.
Ready to Connect?
Open your portfolio, then follow the steps above to search for U.S. Bank. You may be asked to sign in first.
