No. Silvia has read-only access to every account you connect. We cannot make transfers, place trades, or change anything about your accounts. We only read balances, positions, and transactions to keep your dashboard current, answer your questions, and help you grow your net worth.

Only you. Silvia is SOC 2 Type II certified. Every byte is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never store your bank credentials (Plaid holds those in a secure vault) and internal access is logged and audited.

Plaid is the same account-connection layer trusted by Venmo, Robinhood, Chime, SoFi, and hundreds of other financial apps. Your bank login goes to Plaid, not to us. Silvia only ever sees the read-only account data Plaid returns.

Empower and Monarch aggregate accounts but don't answer real questions. ChatGPT will talk about finance but has no visibility into your actual balances. Silvia does both. She is connected to every account you own and answers using your real numbers, not a generic case study.
