Connection help

Connect TD Bank (US) to Silvia

Follow these steps to find your TD Bank (US) account in Silvia, authorize a connection, and resolve common setup issues.

Before You Start

Have your TD Bank (US) login and access to your usual verification method ready. Check that you can sign in directly with your institution before starting.

  • Search for TD Bank and choose the United States listing. TD’s Canadian EasyWeb service is a separate login experience; match the listing to where your account is held.
  • Use your TD Bank Online Banking username and password and have access to your verification method. Review the accounts offered before finishing the connection.

Connect Your Account

  1. Open Your Portfolio in Silvia

Sign in and open Assets & Liabilities (or My Portfolio). Select Banks & Brokerages under Add an Asset. If your page has an Add button, choose Add asset first. On mobile, the + button opens the add options.

  2. Find the Right TD Bank (US) Listing

Search for TD Bank in the Add Account window. Choose the listing that matches your institution and account type. Banking, credit card, brokerage, and workplace accounts may use different listings.

  3. Follow the Connection Prompts

Silvia opens the connection provider for the listing you selected. Follow the sign-in instructions and complete any verification requested by TD Bank (US). You may be redirected to your institution to authorize access.

  4. Review Access & Select Your Accounts

Review the requested data access, select the accounts you want to share when prompted, and complete the authorization. Available accounts and data depend on your institution and connection provider.

  5. Return to Silvia

Finish the connection flow and return to your portfolio. Allow time for the initial sync, then check that your selected accounts appear. Balances, holdings, and transactions may arrive at different times where available.

If You Have Trouble Connecting

  • If a TD username or password is rejected, check whether you selected the US or Canadian service. Confirm you can sign in at TD’s US banking website for a US account.
  • Use TD Bank’s login help to recover a username or password or resolve a security-code issue. After direct access is working, retry the connection from Silvia.

Ready to Connect?

Open your portfolio, then follow the steps above to search for TD Bank (US). You may be asked to sign in first.
