Connect Fifth Third Bank to Silvia

Follow these steps to find your Fifth Third Bank account in Silvia, authorize a connection, and resolve common setup issues.

Before You Start

Have your Fifth Third Bank login and access to your usual verification method ready. Check that you can sign in directly with your institution before starting.

  • Set up and test your Fifth Third Online Banking access before connecting. Existing online banking users sign in with their custom User ID and online banking password.
  • Choose the Fifth Third listing that matches the service you normally use. Fifth Third Direct is a separate business banking service from personal Online Banking.

Connect Your Account

  1. Open Your Portfolio in Silvia

    Sign in and open Assets & Liabilities (or My Portfolio). Select Banks & Brokerages under Add an Asset. If your page has an Add button, choose Add asset first. On mobile, the + button opens the add options.

  2. Find the Right Fifth Third Bank Listing

    Search for Fifth Third in the Add Account window. Choose the listing that matches your institution and account type. Banking, credit card, brokerage, and workplace accounts may use different listings.

  3. Follow the Connection Prompts

    Silvia opens the connection provider for the listing you selected. Follow the sign-in instructions and complete any verification requested by Fifth Third Bank. You may be redirected to your institution to authorize access.

  4. Review Access & Select Your Accounts

    Review the requested data access, select the accounts you want to share when prompted, and complete the authorization. Available accounts and data depend on your institution and connection provider.

  5. Return to Silvia

    Finish the connection flow and return to your portfolio. Allow time for the initial sync, then check that your selected accounts appear. Balances, holdings, and transactions may arrive at different times where available.

If You Have Trouble Connecting

  • If you have only used a card number and PIN for your first Fifth Third login, finish setting up your personalized online banking credentials directly with Fifth Third before retrying.
  • If your credentials are rejected, use Fifth Third’s User ID or password recovery options and confirm direct access before returning to Silvia.
