Connect E*TRADE to Silvia
Follow these steps to update your E*TRADE settings and connect your account to Silvia.
Choose Your Login Option
Start with the sign-in method that matches how you access E*TRADE.
If You Use a Security Code
- Enter your registered user ID and password.
- Select Password and Security Code from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the six-digit code from the VIP Access app or hardware token in the security code field on the next page.
If You Do Not Use a Security Code
- Enter your user ID and password.
- Select Password Only from the drop-down menu.
Enable Third-Party Data Sharing
On the Web
- Log on to etrade.com.
- Open Profile, then Security Settings.
- Select Manage third-party data sharing.
- Set your preference to Yes.
In the App
- Go to Menu in the bottom-right corner.
- Choose My Profile, then Update Personal Information.
- Scroll the tab bar to the right to open Security Settings.
- Select Manage third-party data sharing.
- Set your preference to Yes.
Connect Your Account in Silvia
Once you have saved your preference, return to Silvia and re-enter your E*TRADE log-on information.
Open My Portfolio and select Banks and Brokerages from the add-asset options. If you see an Add button, choose Add asset first. Search for E*TRADE in the Add Account window and follow the connection prompts.
