Connect Barclays (US) to Silvia

Before You Start

Have your Barclays (US) login and access to your usual verification method ready. Check that you can sign in directly with your institution before starting.

• Search for Barclays. Plaid’s US coverage includes separate Barclays - Bank (US) and Barclays - Cards entries, so choose the listing for the account you want to share.
• Complete the Barclays sign-in and verification shown for your chosen listing, then review the accounts returned before finishing the connection.

Connect Your Account

1. Open Your Portfolio in Silvia

   Sign in and open Assets & Liabilities (or My Portfolio). Select Banks & Brokerages under Add an Asset. If your page has an Add button, choose Add asset first. On mobile, the + button opens the add options.

2. Find the Right Barclays (US) Listing

   Search for Barclays in the Add Account window. Choose the listing that matches your institution and account type. Banking, credit card, brokerage, and workplace accounts may use different listings.

3. Follow the Connection Prompts

   Silvia opens the connection provider for the listing you selected. Follow the sign-in instructions and complete any verification requested by Barclays (US). You may be redirected to your institution to authorize access.

4. Review Access & Select Your Accounts

   Review the requested data access, select the accounts you want to share when prompted, and complete the authorization. Available accounts and data depend on your institution and connection provider.

5. Return to Silvia

   Finish the connection flow and return to your portfolio. Allow time for the initial sync, then check that your selected accounts appear. Balances, holdings, and transactions may arrive at different times where available.

If You Have Trouble Connecting

• If you only see savings accounts when looking for a credit card, or cards when looking for a bank account, check the other Barclays listing if it is available.
• This guide covers Barclays US. If your account is held in another country, match both the country and the institution website in Silvia’s search. A US listing does not establish access to an account elsewhere.
