UI/UX Designer & QA Lead
Design
About the Role
Design world-class financial experiences that make complex wealth data feel simple, trustworthy, and delightful across Silvia's web and mobile platforms. You also own site-wide quality assurance - ensuring every pixel, interaction, and flow works flawlessly before it reaches our users.
Our values are simple and the lifeblood of our company:
- How you do one thing is how you do everything
- The team you build is the company you build.
- Compete, don't complain.
- Think in decades, act in days.
- Unleash your child-like curiosity.
Our culture is unique, but if you want to build the future alongside other A+ colleagues in a highly entrepreneurial environment, there's no better place to be.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end design for Silvia's dashboard, portfolio views, onboarding flows, and AI chat/voice interfaces
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions
- Build and maintain a scalable design system (components, tokens, patterns) in Figma
- Own cross-browser/cross-device QA - build test plans, file and track bugs, and gate releases on quality standards
- Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity
- Champion accessibility, responsive design, and data visualization best practices
What You Bring
- 5+ years UI/UX design experience in consumer fintech, wealth-tech, or data-heavy SaaS products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating financial dashboards, data visualization, and onboarding flows
- Expert proficiency in Figma; working knowledge of HTML/CSS for design handoff and QA inspection
- Hands-on QA experience - you've filed bugs, built test matrices, and held the quality bar on live products
- Eye for detail that borders on obsessive
- Intuitive understanding of how customers will use Silvia and the best ways to create a delightful experience that drives loyalty and retention
- Bonus: Experience with AI conversational UI or voice interface design
